STRUCTURE OF SECONDARY EDUCATION MANAGEMENT BOARD

Section 7 (20) of the Board Edict provide that the Headquarters office of the Board shall consist of the following Departments for the efficient performance of its duties.

The Board Headquarters is presently structure into seven (7) main departments namely:

1. The Executive Secretary’s Office

2. Administration Department

3. School Services Department

4. Finance Department

5. Planning Research and Statistics Department

6. Science Vocational and Technical Department

7. Curriculum and Capacity Building Department

 

For ease of Administration, the Executive Secretary’s office is made up of the following units;

1. Information and Public Relations Unit – Mrs. Ruth C. Afari (ANIPR)

2. Internal Audit – Mr. Pius Agomuo

3. Legal Unit – Barr. Victor B. Nkwo

4. Board Matter Unit – Nwankwo Victor C.

5. Exams Unit – Mrs. Nene I. Ibe

 

The three (3) major units under Executive Secretary’s Office enshrined in the edict establishing Secondary Education Management Board are:
